Bristol Dental Hospital - X-Ray Department

Client: University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust / Project Value 60k

“To carry out internal alterations to a ‘live’ X-ray and surgery department. Works included alterations to services, demolition of walls, new flooring, new partitions (lead lined due to the X-rays), and new joinery and decorations.”

Works and Challenges

The works were carefully phased so the surgery could remain operational. Because we were working in a small area, close daily liaison between BDH staff and our project foreman ensured that patients and staff weren’t inconvenienced and the project programme was maintained. It was also essential to liaise closely with specialist X-ray equipment installers and phase their equipment deliveries to synchronise with our works.
