Oldbury House - Grade II Listed Building

“Orignally constructed in c.1670, Oldbury house is now used as offices”

To convert the building, which had previously been occupied by the Physics department and used as workshops, into modern office accommodation while not disturbing the property’s historic fabric. 

Works and Challenges

The project included installation of experimental heating, ventilation and insulation systems, funded through the Technology Strategy Board. The building’s innovative, energy-saving design also included installation of heated glazing and underground air-warming and cooling systems.
